Two berths, an hourly parking meter
The World Cruise Center at 100 Swinford Street has two berths, and the regular homeport lines are Princess, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean and Virgin Voyages, with Celebrity, Cunard, MSC, Oceania, Regent, Silversea and Viking calling less often.
As of 2026, parking is in secured lots run by Parking Concepts, Inc. and is charged by the hour - free for the first hour, then $2 an hour - capped at $23 a day for a standard vehicle and $40 a day for oversized ones, per the Port of Los Angeles. At the cap, a seven-night Mexico run comes to about $160 for a car.
No luggage storage, and LAX is 18 miles off
The terminal is about 18 miles south of LAX. The Metro J Line (Silver Line 950) bus connects San Pedro with downtown Los Angeles, and the San Pedro Red Trolley runs along the waterfront, but neither runs to the airport, so the LAX leg is realistically a car, taxi or cruise-line transfer.
One thing that catches people out: the port does not store bags in the terminal, for security reasons. If you are disembarking with a late flight, plan where your luggage will spend the day before you walk off the ship.
