Margaritaville at Sea is a small line built around the Margaritaville resort-and-restaurant brand, and Margaritaville at Sea Paradise is its short-cruise ship. It sails from the Port of Palm Beach on 2- to 5-night trips - two-night runs to Nassau or Grand Bahama, three nights in Nassau, four-night combinations with Key West or Bimini, and a five-night Dominican Republic and Bahamas route. Its sister Islander sails longer trips out of Tampa. The draw is a quick, inexpensive getaway, with theater shows like Radio Margaritaville: Live at Sea and a full casino.
The base fare covers the standard restaurants, including the High Tide Market, plus the theater shows and pool deck. JWB Prime Steakhouse and the other specialty venues, drinks, Wi-Fi and the casino cost extra. Gratuities are where the numbers surprise people: from February 1, 2026, the daily rate rose to $22 per person per night in staterooms and $25 in suites, the highest standard-cabin rate in the industry and above Norwegian's $20. The Ultimate Beverage Chill package started at $49 in 2026.99 per person per night, and Wi-Fi tiers start at $19.99 a night for messaging only.
On a two-night cruise those add-ons can rival the fare itself, so price the trip with gratuities and drinks included before comparing it with a Carnival or Royal Caribbean short sailing from Miami or Port Canaveral. Kids' and teen programming runs on board, and the vibe is beach-bar casual throughout.
