A 7-foot garage
As of October 2026, Visit Long Beach lists the terminal's own parking structure at $23 a day, with a 30-minute free window for drop-offs ($4 up to an hour, $8 up to two). The catch is the 7-foot height limit: anything taller, or any vehicle that needs more than one space, has to book offsite parking instead.
Visit Long Beach gives directions from three airports - Long Beach (LGB), LAX and Orange County's John Wayne (SNA) - so it's worth pricing flights into the small Long Beach airport rather than defaulting to LAX.
Downtown is across the water, so take a boat
The terminal sits beside the Queen Mary on the far side of the harbour from downtown, and the cheapest way across is on the water. In summer the AquaBus water taxi links the Queen Mary with the Aquarium, Shoreline Village and Rainbow Harbor for $1, a full loop taking about 20 minutes; the AquaLink, at $5, runs on to Alamitos Bay Landing.
On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays the free Passport bus also stops at the Queen Mary and runs every 15 minutes from 10am to 8pm along Pine Avenue and Shoreline Village. That makes a pre-cruise night in a downtown hotel easy without a car. Downtown's First Street station is also the end of the Metro A Line to downtown Los Angeles.
